We are looking for a Senior Big Data Tester for a project in Lisbon (Hybrid).
Requirements:
-Help implement Shift Left testing in DBT world;
-Involve early on in requirements gathering session and contribute to Data mapping, data Modelling sheets by closely working with BAs, Data Modellers and End Users;
-Understand technical project/ release goals and end user needs while deriving Test Coverage and Scenarios;
-Collaborate with developers to build automated test suites in dbt framework – In-built assertions and also custom developed test cases;
-Regularly review the automated test suites to optimise test coverage, identify gaps/ redundancies and maintain requirements traceability to the automated Test cases;
-Execute any test cases that are not covered as part of dbt test suites- Integration, negative or failover, exception handling etc (these may vary based on the delivery type) and also any exploratory testing on need basis;
-Ensure quality code is developed by continuous validation and assurance of the automated test cases (design as well as output validations);
-Feedback to dev team on any slow running queries/ inefficient transformations for optimization;
-Coordinate and support UAT and BAT Test Phases;
-Contribute to monitoring practices by suggesting metrics or threshold alerts based on user feedbacks post deployment ensuring data quality is maintained even in production;
-Requirement analysis and reviewing Data Mapping , HLD and LLDs to identify any gaps for new projects;
-Come up with Test Plan and approach for efficient delivery of the release;
-Must be located in Portugal, with preference in Lisbon;
-Must have a B2+/C1 english level;
-Experience in DBT and AIRFLOW.
