We are looking for a Lead Data Scientist for a long term role in this project in Lisbon or Porto (flexible hybrid).
Required Competences:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field;
Expertise with Python programming and Data Science related packages such as Scikit-learn, Pandas, Numpy, SciPy NLTK, OpenCV/Pillow, Matplotlib/Plotly;
Expertise with Deep Learning frameworks, such as Tensorflow, PyTorch, Keras, HuggingFace;
Experience with Python Web Frameworks, such as FastAPI, Flask or Django;
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and familiarity with MLOps best practices;
Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform;
Solid understanding of data architecture principles, including data modeling, databases, ETL processes, and data governance;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients;
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail;
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Preferential Competences:
Experience building GenAI solutions using LLMs, including using frameworks like LangChain, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and Fine-tuning;
Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka;
Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js in the context of solution architecture;
